Ok ok. I’m calling bullshit on you. You seriously cannot be that big of a retard. Well, maybe they can herd you simple folk into a caged surveillance unit and feed you oats or something, but the day cameras record our every move will be the day I start a revolution.

Preventing …
Preventing littering, yes thats not as bad, but they are also used for people who are standing still, and talking, you’ll hear someone yell “You’ve been loitering for five minutes move along”.

Dropping litter a CRIME! What has this country become? I’m all for keeping Britain tidy, but dropping a cup on the street & branding them a criminal is way over the top. Did you folks notice that guy with a microwave device stuck in his ear? Dumb sheep, if he don’t get a brain tumer he’ll be one of the first ones to willingly accept the microchip. A bet he is a closet pervert too!

I don’t know why, but that cop telling the woman to pick up the trash makes me think of a bitter old man yelling at the kids to get off his lawn.

You might not care …
You might not care about people littering on the street, but when someone leaves a bag full of kitchen waste in your backyard, wouldn’t you rush out and give them word? Don’t have double standards on your country’s land.

What privacy do you …
What privacy do you need when you walk on the street? The privacy to litter on the ground, spit on the ground then say how much you love your country?
There are other thousands of pedstrians seeing you already, and you are complaining about some cameras pointing somewhere.
What would you think if someone in your neighbourhood got killed on the street in the morning and no one knows who or what killed that person?

Don’t buy into the …
Don’t buy into the ‘privacy’ stuff, that’s no different from asking why you didn’t get a helicopter as a gift when you buy your house.
Cameras over your shoulder doesn’t add an extra kilo to your head, so why worry? There are always warning signs telling people that there are cameras, if you think your privacy might be invaded, don’t walk in the city street.

If these cameras …
If these cameras are going to catch real criminals, they need to be focused on the bankers, politicians, civil servants, CEOs, etc.

it was a really …
it was a really wacky rant you had going in the first two posts, but this third bit really lost me - how is wanting a helicopter as a gift like wanting privacy?
and if i want privacy but also want to be able to leave my house without 24/7 tracking, why is that unreasonable?

it redefines what …
it redefines what the law is
typical mind war techniques
the law is the law for its the enforced law
with the camera it is guilty before proven innocent there is no room for a jurisdictive process
and the people in that general area will be scared stiff
they will behave like machines to get from point a to b

Cams are everywhere …
Cams are everywhere. As long as it is public, I can’t see what would be the problem .
Maybe because I am just a simple person, I would feel quite ok with someone , like in this case, preventing littering. After all, someone will have to clean her mess if she doesn’t pick up after herself(in this example).Just imagine a moment it was dog poop? Wouldn’t you like it if someone intervene and makes the owner pick up after that dog?
I can understand why some people feel uncomfortable with this.

You’re right, there …
You’re right, there are a lot of cameras. That doesn’t make it ok. Video surveillance on private property is understandable, but I do not like the idea of a ‘big brother’ government watching everyone’s every move.

of course, not. Think for a moment: there are cameras all the time everywhere already. It is a good tool!
